First Day on the Farm

I took some friends with me to Maggie's Farm today to sign-up for the season and to give the newbies a quick tour. There were already bags of spinach waiting for us and then Marge led us to the new hoop-house to pick more greens:

Denny and I were picking some lovely kale while Marge cut some heads of lettuce; I added some mustard green and arugula.

It's been a long winter and it is so nice to start getting fresh veg from the farm.
